Softball Game Preview: De Anza Dons vs. Kennedy Eagles

The De Anza Dons will take on the Kennedy Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for De Anza's offense. They came up short against Alhambra on Wednesday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Dons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to Swett.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for De Anza, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything went De Anza's way against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as De Anza made off with an 11-1 win. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
