Steinbrenner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Strawberry Crest Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 78-54 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2014.

Steinbrenner's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Douglas Jordan, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Jordan has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Aulls, who went 5 for 8 en route to 17 points.
