With a playoff win on the line, Alamogordo rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Rio Rancho Rams by a score of 7-3. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Alamogordo's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Rio Rancho, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-11 record this season.

Alamogordo will face off against Cibola at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rio Rancho does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
