Basketball Recap: Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind Fox Defenders vs. N.C. School for the Deaf Bears
Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 52-33 bruising from the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears. The Fox Defenders were down 39-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Several Fox Defenders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaharri Grant, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty'Von Banks, who put up six points.
Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for N.C. School for the Deaf, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind has already played their next match, a 47-11 defeat against Delaware School for the Deaf on the 23rd. As for N.C.
