Football Recap: Bishop Mcnamara Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Bishop McNamara extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Julius May. The Fightin' Irish really took it to the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-14 win thanks in part to May, who rushed for 171 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 90 yards.

Bishop McNamara didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Karter Krustinger, Richie Darr, and Coen Demack picked up one apiece.

Bishop McNamara's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Marian Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
