Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palmer). Everything went their way against the Kodiak Bears on Saturday as they made off with a 9-0 win. With that victory, Palmer brought their scoring average up to 3.1 goals per game.

Palmer has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those six contests. As for Kodiak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Palmer didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Houston on the 8th. As for Kodiak, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Redington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
