Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Charles Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mount St. Charles Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Wheeler Warriors 3-0. The Mounties have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Mount St. Charles Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-5, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Camryn Bedrossian and Sylvee Lemire, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Chloe Marcotte and her 16 assists. Lemire was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Mount St. Charles Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Wheeler, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Mount St. Charles Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Berwick Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wheeler, they will challenge Concord Academy at 4:30 p.m. on October 8.
