Mount St. Joseph came out on top against Gilman on Wednesday thanks in part to Carson Beyers's efforts. Beyers went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and seven RBI, which was good enough to set a new career-high in RBI.

Beyers' strong effort led Mount St. Joseph over Gilman and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
