Basketball Game Preview: Northfield Norsemen vs. Adams Central Flying Jets

The Northfield Norsemen are taking a road trip to face off against the Adams Central Flying Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Northfield and Southwood faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. Northfield took a 55-41 bruising from Southwood. The Norsemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ty Leming put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 6-for-8 on his way to 18 points and six boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carter Rodgers, who earned seven points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Adams Central entered their tilt with Fort Wayne North Side on Saturday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-63 W against the Legends.

Adams Central's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Northfield, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
