Heritage and Broad Run squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Heritage had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Pride's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Gabbie Haynie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Heritage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Carr, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Broad Run, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Heritage nor Broad Run have any future games scheduled.
