Volleyball Game Preview: Prosser Falcons vs. Schurz Bulldogs

The Prosser Falcons will square off against the Schurz Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Prosser will be strutting in after a victory while Schurz will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Prosser was able to grind out a solid win over Foreman, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Prosser easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-8.

Prosser's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micah Kholodenko, who had five digs, three aces, and two blocks. Kholodenko has been hot, having also posted 15 or more assists the last seven times he's played. Caleb Flores was another key player, getting six aces.

Meanwhile, Schurz came up short against Amundsen on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Prosser's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Schurz, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-2.
