McClatchy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Grant recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Pacers at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in McClatchy's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Grant has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

It was a proper cat-fight when McClatchy faced off against Kennedy on Tuesday. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Cougars. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Madelyn Ogata spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, McClatchy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayeliza Rogers, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Grant came up short against Cordova on Tuesday, falling 16-4. That's two games in a row now that the Pacers have lost by exactly 12 runs.

McClatchy's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14-1.

McClatchy took their win against Grant when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Pacers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
