Softball Recap: Forest Park Takes a Loss

Forest Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Crawford County Wolfpack. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Forest Park saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mollie Combs, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Sydney Bettag, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Crawford County, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Park will face off against North Posey at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crawford County, they will challenge Shoals at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
