Pace Academy picks up tenth straight win at home

Recap: Pace Academy Knights vs. Hiram Hornets

The Pace Academy Knights stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Hiram 70-48. The victory was nothing new for Pace Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.

Pace Academy was led to victory by Chandler Bing and Eric Chatfield. Bing scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Chatfield scored 19 points along with three steals. Chatfield is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lamar Moore, who scored 12 points along with two steals.

Pace Academy pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.6 points. As for Hiram, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Pace Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on McDonough at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hiram won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cass at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Cass will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 388th, while Hiram is ranked 96th).
