Baseball Recap: Northern Bedford County Takes a Loss

Northern Bedford County lost to Tussey Mountain back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Titans by a score of 6-5. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Jordan Free and Ty Kagarise did some serious damage despite the final result: Free went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Kagarise went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Nolin Snider was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Northern Bedford County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Tussey Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
