Basketball Recap: Sipsey Valley Triumphs

Sipsey Valley won the last time they faced Greene County and things went their way on Monday too. The Sipsey Valley Bears came out on top against the Greene County Tigers by a score of 50-40.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Darryl White Jr, who posted 11 points and seven assists. Ronald Wilder Jr. was another key player, putting up eight points along with 13 rebounds and four blocks.

Sipsey Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Greene County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Sipsey Valley will face off against Paul W. Bryant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paul W. Bryant will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Sipsey Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greene County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-36 win against Aliceville on the 2nd.
