Baseball Recap: Howards Grove Takes a Loss

Howards Grove lost against New Holstein back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 10-6 to the Huskies.

Mason Scharl made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Colten Sommer was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Howards Grove now has a losing record of 1-2. As for New Holstein, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Howards Grove will square off against Hilbert at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Holstein, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Two Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Huskies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
