As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one walk. For the season, he has been strong no matter where he plays. On the mound, he has an ERA of 3.26 over 19.3 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.333/0.500/0.489 with 21 runs, plus 22 stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Dodd and Lynn will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Winston County at 12:00 p.m. Sadly, Dodd's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bears' 13-game streak of wins at home.
