Basketball Preview: Rogers City Hurons vs. Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts
Rogers City is 1-9 against the Thunderbolts since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Rogers City Hurons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Rogers City had to settle for a 40-37 defeat against the Tigers. Rogers City has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mio-Au Sable beat the Patriots 54-49 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mio-Au Sable.
Rogers City's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mio-Au Sable, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Rogers City lost to the Thunderbolts at home by a decisive 36-22 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Rogers City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
