Baseball Recap: East Clinton Falls Short of Cincinnati Country Day in the Playoffs

East Clinton and Cincinnati Country Day squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but East Clinton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Nighthawks, falling 9-2. The Astros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Warner, who went 3-for-4 with one double. Carson Henry also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

East Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cincinnati Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither East Clinton nor Cincinnati Country Day have any future games scheduled.
