It was a good run, but Minooka unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Plainfield South Cougars. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Minooka's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9. As for Plainfield South, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Minooka will welcome Plainfield East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plainfield South has already played their next contest (against Bolingbrook), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
