Tullahoma had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Monday. They came out on top against Lawrence County by a score of 6-1. Tullahoma has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Lawrence County, too.

Baylan Tuten made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Andrew Fulmer, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Mason Bratcher, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Tullahoma pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lawrence County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
