Basketball Recap: GREEN Upstate Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

GREEN Upstate can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Whitmire Wolverines with a sharp 65-43 win. The Owls pushed the score to 55-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolverines had little chance of recovering from.

Whitmire's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Rueter, who went 5 of 9 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Braylen Sartor, who posted 13 points.
