It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dexter can now relate to. They fell just short of the Washington Academy Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Washington Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington Academy, they will face off against Monmouth Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 2.3, the Mustangs 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
