Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Fenwick Crusaders vs. Danvers Falcons

The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Danvers Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Saturday, Bishop Fenwick didn't have quite enough to beat Marblehead and fell 55-53.

Meanwhile, Danvers took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging an 82-24 victory over Salem Academy Charter.

Bishop Fenwick better keep an eye on Connor DiTomaso. He was instrumental in Danvers' win, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Sillars, who posted 12 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Danvers smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

Bishop Fenwick didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Danvers when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 79-74 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Danvers' Luke Metivier, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Wednesday, will it be easier for Bishop Fenwick to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
