Butte Central Catholic's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Laurel Locomotives. The Maroons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Gunnar O'Brien was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He also put up three RBI, which were his first of the season. Beau Mcgree was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Butte Central Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .578. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Butte Central Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Laurel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
