Volleyball Recap: Brantley County Comes Up Short

Brantley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Toombs County Bulldogs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-18.

Brantley County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-22. As for Toombs County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brantley County will square off against Liberty County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Toombs County, they will challenge Bryan County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
