It's playoff time, and Sutherland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Mendon Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won 12 contests in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Jamie Kotalik, who had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Kotalik wasn't the only good servers: Sutherland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive matchups.

Sutherland's victory bumped their record up to 37-2-2. As for Mendon, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Sutherland will challenge Eastridge at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mendon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
