Football Game Preview: Inchelium Hornets vs. Garfield-Palouse Vikings + How To Watch

The Inchelium Hornets will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Garfield-Palouse Vikings at 3:00 p.m. One thing working in Inchelium's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Inchelium is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Curlew, who was ranked 25th at the time (Inchelium was ranked 15th). The Hornets managed a 76-70 win over the Cougars on Friday. The Hornets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Gaige Stensgar had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 194 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Those 194 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Dustin Hoffman did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 91 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Garfield-Palouse's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 66-14 defeat at the hands of Liberty Christian. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-14.

Garfield-Palouse's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Inchelium, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
