Soccer Recap: Ridge Point Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Ridge Point duked it out with Fort Bend Travis on Tuesday. The Ridge Point Panthers fell just short of the Fort Bend Travis Tigers by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Ridge Point's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Fort Bend Travis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Ridge Point will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Fort Bend Bush at 7:30 p.m. Ridge Point's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Fort Bend Travis, they will head out to face off against Fort Bend Elkins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
