Veritas Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 63-49 bruising from the LIGHT HomeSchool Eagles.

Several Veritas Christian Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Timothy Hawkswell, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, Hawkswell is now averaging an impressive 8 rebounds per game. Dallas Tanis was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six boards and five assists.
