Softball Recap: Goleman Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Goleman's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Gladiators: they've now lost three in a row.

Goleman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hialeah Gardens, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goleman will welcome Mater Lakes Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Goleman has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Southwest's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
