Each squad has a pair of 4-star prospects ready to shine Friday as Carson Palmer prepares for head coaching debut.

The MaxPreps Game of the Week arrives Friday in Southern California as No. 16 Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita) takes on No. 14 Mission Viejo.

The showdown features a combined 25 players that have landed at least one FBS offer, including 15 from Santa Margarita.

The Eagles are led by four-star USC commits Simote Katoanga and Trent Mosley. Katoanga is a 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive lineman while Mosley caught eight touchdown passes last season from his wide receiver position.

Four-star prospects Jeron Jones and Vance Spafford are the highest-rated recruits for Mission Viejo. Jones, a cornerback committed to Washington, had three interceptions in 2024 while Spafford is headed to Miami after a 14-touchdown junior season at wide receiver.
