Soccer Recap: NCSSM: Morganton Takes a Loss

The NCSSM: Morganton Dragons didn't have quite enough to beat the Mountain Island Charter Raptors on Thursday and fell 2-1. NCSSM: Morganton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Ford Butner, who's now up to nine this season.

NCSSM: Morganton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Mountain Island Charter, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. NCSSM: Morganton will take on rival Sugar Creek Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mountain Island Charter is set to challenge their familiar foe Queen's Grant at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
