Volleyball Recap: Starkville Comes Up Short

Starkville lost against Ocean Springs back in September of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellowjackets fell 2-0 to the Greyhounds. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-10.

Starkville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ocean Springs, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Starkville will square off against Amory at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocean Springs, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Northwest Rankin on the 2nd.
