Baseball Game Preview: Glenbard East Rams vs. Ridgewood Rebels

For the second straight game, Glenbard East will face off against Ridgewood. The Rams will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glenbard East has eight straight wins, Ridgewood has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Glenbard East came out on top against Ridgewood on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Rams took their game against the Rebels 6-3.

For Ridgewood's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathaniel Cabrera, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Glenbard East pushed their record up to 21-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Ridgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1.
