Softball Recap: Liberty Wins Going Away Against Gregory-Portland

It was a proper cat-fight when Liberty took on Gregory-Portland on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Liberty now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gregory-Portland, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Liberty will square off against Harlingen South at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Gregory-Portland, they will face off against Southwest Legacy at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
