North was handed a six-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Geneva Eagles. Considering North's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Madelyn Flick and Sophia Petro scored all four of North's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

North's win bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for Geneva, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.

North wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Chardon on the 23rd. As for Geneva, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against Conneaut on the 23rd.
