Berkmar had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the McDonough Warhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Berkmar's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for McDonough, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Looking ahead, Berkmar will head out on the road to challenge Peachtree Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Patriots' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for McDonough, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
