Basketball Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oilton Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since January 20, 2024.

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Oilton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Mason has already played their next matchup, a 38-29 victory against Prue on the 25th. As for Oilton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-42 win against Depew on the 25th.
