Loomis put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-24 victory at home. Fans of the Wolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ point.

Loomis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jace Schukar out in front who rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Schukar really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run. Graham Trompke was another key passer, throwing for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Loomis' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Trompke and Schukar. Schukar's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Loomis' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Anselmo-Merna, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loomis will host Maywood/Hayes Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Loomis has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 148 points over their last three contests. As for Anselmo-Merna, they will take on Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
