Basketball Game Preview: Vigor Wolves vs. LeFlore Rattlers

The Vigor Wolves will face off against the LeFlore Rattlers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Vigor sitting on four straight wins and LeFlore on five.

Last Tuesday, Vigor humbled Citronelle with a 72-34 victory. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, LeFlore didn't have too much trouble with Davidson on Wednesday as they won 67-51.

LeFlore had a senior duo take command as ETHAN FOSTER posted 20 points and seven boards and O'BRIAN EVANS earned 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of RYION AUSTIN, who put up nine points.

Vigor is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for LeFlore, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Vigor took their win against LeFlore in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 75-54. Does Vigor have another victory up their sleeve, or will LeFlore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
