Basketball Game Preview: Lynn Classical Rams vs. Swampscott Big Blue

Lynn Classical has won seven straight games at home, while Swampscott has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Rams will host the Big Blue at 6:00 p.m. Lynn Classical knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Swampscott likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Lynn Classical was able to grind out a solid win over South, taking the game 71-62. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Colonels are ranked 128th).

Meanwhile, Swampscott strolled past Danvers with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 76-60.

Swampscott's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Lynn Classical, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Lynn Classical beat Swampscott 71-58 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Big Blue turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
