Basketball Recap: Suffern Comes Up Short

Suffern has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mamaroneck Tigers. If the Mounties were looking for revenge after losing 51-47 to them when the teams met back in December of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Suffern's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Mamaroneck, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Suffern will challenge Clarkstown North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mamaroneck, they will face off against New Rochelle at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
