Softball Recap: Wissahickon Takes a Loss

Wissahickon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the William Tennent Panthers, falling 13-1. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Julia Lentz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. Giuliana Schumann also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Wissahickon's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for William Tennent, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wissahickon will face off against rival Abington at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, William Tennent is set to square off against their familiar foe Springfield Township at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
