Football Recap: Navarre Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Navarre's offense. They took a blow against the Choctawhatchee Indians on Friday, falling 42-0. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Leading Choctawhatchee to victory were Tamen Zabetkis and Carter Marracco. Zabetkis threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing, while Marracco rushed for 48 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Marracco a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).

Navarre's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Choctawhatchee, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Navarre will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mosley at 7:30 p.m. on September 12. As for Choctawhatchee, they will venture away from home to take on Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
