Avoca Central had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Alfred-Almond Eagles as they made off with a 14-1 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Avoca Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Alfred-Almond, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Avoca Central and Alfred-Almond will both be playing Hammondsport the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Lakers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Titans will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
