Beulah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Central of Clay County Volunteers by a score of 5-2.

Maci Wingo made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Wingo wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Madyson Snedigar, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Coming up, Beulah will welcome Beauregard at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beauregard's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Beulah's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Central of Clay County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Hokes Bluff on the 7th.
