They were dealt a 68-36 defeat at the hands of St. Louis HomeSchool P. Missouri Military Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.
St. Louis HomeSchool P's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tremayne Jackson, who scored 18 points along with four steals. AJ Stanley, Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five steals.
Missouri Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Missouri Military Academy is on the road again on Monday and plays Van-Far at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th. The timing is sure in Van-Far's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Missouri Military Academy has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they and Calvary Lutheran will face off at 4:30 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Averaging 61.5 points so far this season, St. Louis HomeSchool P's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Calvary Lutheran better be ready for a challenge.
