Volleyball Game Preview: Spring Valley Grizzlies vs. Chaparral Cowboys

Spring Valley couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Liberty a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 32-30, 25-19, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Chaparral faced Del Sol in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cowboys fell 3-1 to the Dragons. The loss continues a trend for the Cowboys in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost three in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Del Sol scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 24-26, 25-20.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
